The Missouri Tigers delivered a commanding performance last night, defeating the 11th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers 78–63 at Mizzou Arena. With high energy on both ends of the court, Mizzou fed off a sold-out crowd and surged ahead early, never letting up.

Star guard Nick Honor led the Tigers with 21 points, including five three-pointers, while Kobe Brown added a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. The team’s defense stifled Tennessee’s ball movement, forcing 15 turnovers and converting them into fast-break points.

Head coach Dennis Gates praised the team’s focus: “We stayed disciplined, executed the game plan, and played with the kind of intensity that defines Mizzou basketball.”

The win marks Missouri’s third victory over a ranked opponent this season and strengthens their case for a high seed in the NCAA tournament. The Tigers now sit at 20–6 on the season and continue to build momentum heading into March.
